Thank you for offering to help prepare materials needed for our latest little reader. Please read through the list of materials needed to be prepared and ask any questions before you begin.

1. Please cut pages apart using a paper cutter. Please be careful to stay on the lines.

2. Please assemble the book in order: Cover, pages 1-7.

3. Please staple along the left hand margin using three staples. Please be careful not to staple the words in the binding.

4. Please cut 3" x 5" index cards in half (2 1/2" x 3"). Please tape to the inside front covers of the books using three pieces of tape. Please tape the sides and the bottom forming a pocket.

5. Please use penguin body template to trace (using white crayon) and cut out ___________ black construction paper bodies (3 per child).

6. Please cut apart BUT DO NOT CUT OUT ___________white bibs (3 per child).

7. Please cut apart BUT DO NOT CUT OUT ___________ large white circles for eyes (2 per child).

8. Please cut ___________ 3" x 3" yellow construction paper squares for large bill ( 1 per child).

9. Please cut apart BUT DO NOT CUT OUT
___________ small white circles for eyes (4 per child)
___________ small orange feet (4 per child).

10. Please cut apart BUT DO NOT CUT OUT ___________ large orange feet (2 per child).

11. Please cut ___________ 1/2" x 1/2" yellow construction paper squares (2 per child).

12. Please cut ___________ 2" x 5 1/2" white construction paper rectangles for snow bank ( 1 per child).

13. Please glue a cotton ball to the end of a popsicle stick using white glue. I need ___________ pointers. Please count them. There are ___________ completed pointers.

14. Please count the completed copies of The Penguin Book. There are ___________ completed books.
